Fused Glass Classes
Fun with Fusing 
Students will explore their creative side, as we open the Merlich Art Glass studio for our “Fun With Fusing” class. During the class, you’ll cut, shape and arrange your artwork, and then we’ll fire it in our kiln. All the glass and basic tools you need will be provided, at no extra charge. All you need to bring is your adventurous, creative self!
Each class, students will be allotted
10” X 10” of space in our kiln. This size allows for many possible projects, including Christmas ornaments, jewelry, coasters, sun catchers, plates, small bowls, hanging bud vases, etc. A variety of molds will also be available for student use.
Never cut glass before? No problem! We have a couple of options for you... We are happy to provide glass cutting instruction during the first night of fusing class. Or, you may choose to sign up for a one-hour “Glass Cutting 101” primer, to be completed prior to beginning the Fun with Fusing class. For $25, we’ll teach you how to handle and cut glass comfortably and efficiently so that you are ready to jump right in the first night of Fusing class. Just give us a call and we’ll find a time and day that works best for you. The choice is yours!
